It always amazes us at Stationary Bicycle what gets the reviews on exercise equipment. This little hummer pulled in the reviews! Nearly 150 when others wouldn't even get 25. And pulling off a 4 star rating (out of 5) tells a lot!. What is it that makes this machine a favorite? It's not just the low price. It is compact and lightweight, so it fits easily under a desk or in a closet. An electronic fitness monitor tracks number of strides per minute, total number of strides, workout time and calories burned to keep you motivated and moving toward your fitness goals. There's even a scan function that lets you monitor all your stats. Here's what one customer says about the Stamina 55 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer: "I had mixed feelings about purchasing this because of its size and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get a good cardio on it. Boy was I wrong. When I workout on this my heart rate ranges from 145-160 which is exactly where I want it to be. It's very sturdy but does take a little getting used to as far as balancing on it but you can get a great workout from it. The strides are much smaller than what you find in a gym but that's expected. I think it's a very effective piece of equipment for the price." She gave it 5 stars.

We at Stationary Bicycle often look for how many customer reviews a product gets, and how high they score. Manufacturers might say whatever they want about how great their product is, but what the customers say is what really counts. We almost overlooked this little exercise "bike" from Stamina. When other exercise machines may have 2 or 8 or even 13 reviews this little machine had 144! And a very high rating at that (4.0 out of 5). Why? Probably because of the high quality, effectiveness, and low cost. Here's what the Stamina InStride Cycle XL is all about: Unlike most exercise bikes, the InStride XL cycle doesn't come with a seat. Instead, you sit in a standard dining room chair or lie on the floor, then insert your feet into the sturdy rubber straps. Once you're in, you can pedal in forward or reverse motion, with an adjustable tension knob that lets you vary your intensity. As an alternative, you can even rest the InStride XL on a table and pedal with your hands to experience a full-range upper body workout. An electronic monitor times your workout.

We at Stationary Bicycle like multifunctional tools and equipment. If you are going to spend the money for a good exercise bike, why not get one that can also do other non-bike exercises? The Stamina Conversion II Recumbent Bike / Rower is just such a machine! Featuring a battery-operated monitor displaying speed, distance, time, calories burned, and heart rate, this two-in-one machine combines a recumbent bicycle and a rower for two types of low-impact strength and cardio workouts. Moving a pin switches from one mode to the other. In either bicycle or rower mode, magnetic resistance provides a quiet, smooth workout, whose intensity can be varied by turning an eight-position knob without interrupting a workout. A foam-padded seat glides on a ball-bearing roller system along an aluminum rail during rowing, and adjusts to fit different leg lengths for recumbent biking. For bicycling, oversized pedals and adjustable foot-straps hold feet securely to improve pulling motion, in addition to pushing motion. For rowing, a heavy-duty nylon strap and foam grips keep hands stable and comfortable. Assembled, the machine measures 74-1/4 inches long x 23-1/2 inches wide x 34 inches high and weighs 108 pounds. Folded for storage, it measures 34 inches long x 23-1/3 inches wide x 56-1/2 inches high. This 2-4-1 price is hard to beat!

We at Stationary Bicycle realize that some people just don't have a lot of room to spare, and finding a place for an exercise bike can mean the difference between good exercise or none at all. The
Stamina 15-0200 InTone Folding Recumbent Bike is not only economical, well made, silent, and comfortable, it also takes up very little room and even folds if you want to gain more precious space. The sturdy steel frame, foam padded grips, and slide-resistant footpads hold up to long-term use, so you can keep on refining your workouts for years to come. Perhaps most conveniently, the bike offers a multifunction LCD monitor that tracks your workout time, speed, distance, and calories burned, along with an adjustable resistance system that lets you easily increase or decrease your workout intensity. Other details include an adjustable seat that fits various user heights, a quiet motor, and a cushioned seat and seat back. The bike measures 43 to 47 inches long, 25 inches wide, and 41 to 43 inches tall.

"Recumbent" literally means "lying down." Exercising in a recumbent or reclining position allows the user to have full ergonomic back support, without causing strain on the arms, neck and shoulders, all of which can be common effects of using an upright bicycle. With your Stamina Intone Recumbent Bike! Ride you get a great low-impact cardiovascular workout from a comfortable semi-reclined position. Sets up and takes down in a snap, with controls and monitoring to give you "smart" results without any additional "wasted" effort.
