Okay, it's not a bicycle, but I think you will forgive us when you discover what this machine can do. We couldn't resist, and we think you won't be able to either. Schwinn continues to amaze us at Stationary Bicycle. As we look over what is offered for exercise options, we constantly look at the number of reviews, and then the overall average rating. A piece of machinery that pulls a 5 star ratine (out of 5), but has only 3 or 4 ratings, doesn't pull much weight with us usually. If a piece of equipment has 150 or so ratings and pulls a 4, that is one we go after. But this Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer had over 430 reviews. That tells us people are buying this machine. And it pulled a 4.5 star rating. We rarely see that high a rating when anything gets over 50 reviews. So, Folks, if you are looking for a solid piece of equipment to help tone up that body of yours consider this one. The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer offers eight computer-controlled resistance levels and eight workout programs for workout variety, including six user-profile programs, one manual, and one calorie goal program. Its quick start functions allows you to easily change your resistance level while exercising to challenge yourself to the next level. Three feedback programs--recovery mode, results mode, and body mass index (BMI)--allow you to track the progress of your workout routine. BioGlide motion technology offers a natural-feeling 18-inch stride while the trainer's BioFit design will provide a comfortable feel on the footpads and handlebars. The handlebars also feature grip heart rate monitoring which allows you to track your heart rate while you're exercising. Similar to the exercise position for treadmills, elliptical trainers are used by standing in an upright position while holding the handrails of the machine. With elliptical trainers, however, your feet remain in the foot pedals throughout the exercise regimen and circulate in a smooth and seamless motion, resulting in little to no impact on the knees, back, and hips. This elliptical trainer has a compact footprint 59 inches long by 26 inches wide by 68 inches tall.

It always amazes us at Stationary Bicycle what gets the reviews on exercise equipment. This little hummer pulled in the reviews! Nearly 150 when others wouldn't even get 25. And pulling off a 4 star rating (out of 5) tells a lot!. What is it that makes this machine a favorite? It's not just the low price. It is compact and lightweight, so it fits easily under a desk or in a closet. An electronic fitness monitor tracks number of strides per minute, total number of strides, workout time and calories burned to keep you motivated and moving toward your fitness goals. There's even a scan function that lets you monitor all your stats. Here's what one customer says about the Stamina 55 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer: "I had mixed feelings about purchasing this because of its size and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get a good cardio on it. Boy was I wrong. When I workout on this my heart rate ranges from 145-160 which is exactly where I want it to be. It's very sturdy but does take a little getting used to as far as balancing on it but you can get a great workout from it. The strides are much smaller than what you find in a gym but that's expected. I think it's a very effective piece of equipment for the price." She gave it 5 stars.

We at Stationary Bicycle like options. This Confidence 2 in 1 Elliptical Cross Trainer & Exercise Bike certainly gives that, and its smooth action seems to be a favorite among some of the reviewers (one included at the end of this review). At first glance, the unit resembles a standard elliptical trainer, with a pair of footpads that move in a natural elliptical motion, along with a set of arm poles that move in conjunction with your legs. The smooth, fluid movement will tone your arms, chest, back, hips, legs, and glutes while providing a low-impact workout that's five times as efficient as walking. The trainer's a step above most units, however, thanks to the addition of an adjustable seat, which adds more variety to your workouts. As a result, you can turn your trainer into an upright exercise bike and exercise while standing or sitting. The trainer also strides in both forward and reverse to add even more variety. The Confidence trainer includes an adjustable resistance dial, along with a four-function onboard computer that tracks your time, speed, distance, and calories. It measures 34" x 60" x 24" (W x H x D), and offers a maximum capacity of 250 pounds. It weighs 65 pounds itself. Customer comment: I just wanted to let [you] know that I love my elliptical bike. This particular bike is really a smooth ride and easy on the ankles, knees, hips and back. I've attached some before and after pictures so you can see what this machine did for me!!! A colleague of mine was so impressed at how fast i lost the weight he came over my house to see this machine that I'd been talking about, it took him all of 30 seconds of riding it before he asked me where he could purchase one! We at Stationary Bicycle were looking for a good upper body combo to go with the lower body workout. Schwinn came through again. The Schwinn Airdyne Evo Comp Exercise Bike
features a smooth, air-based resistance braking system along with a pair of sturdy exercise arms. The advantage of the unique air resistance system is that it offers as much resistance as you can handle. The harder you pedal, the greater the resistance. The integrated exercise arms, meanwhile, make it possible to work out your upper body and your lower body at the same time, unlike most traditional exercise bikes. The friction-free braking system also requires considerably less maintenance than other, more complex systems, so you don't have to spend your hard-earned money on frustrating repairs. And thanks to the sealed cartridge bearings, the Airdyne Evo Comp provides a smooth ride throughout the bike's extra-long life.

The Airdyne Evo Comp includes a comprehensive computer console that provides feedback on time, distance, workload level, calories burned, calories per hour, heart rate, and RPM. As a result, it's easy to keep track of your overall fitness level. Other features include an extra-quiet chain and belt drive system equipped with a spring-loaded chain tensioner; built-in heart rate monitoring; an LCD display; a fan wheel that cools the user during exercise; an anatomically correct seat with extra padding; and a capacity of 300 pounds. It also carries the following warranties: 30 years on the frame, 3 years on parts and electronics, and 1 year on labor and wear items.

We at Stationary Bicycle often look for how many customer reviews a product gets, and how high they score. Manufacturers might say whatever they want about how great their product is, but what the customers say is what really counts. We almost overlooked this little exercise "bike" from Stamina. When other exercise machines may have 2 or 8 or even 13 reviews this little machine had 144! And a very high rating at that (4.0 out of 5). Why? Probably because of the high quality, effectiveness, and low cost. Here's what the Stamina InStride Cycle XL is all about: Unlike most exercise bikes, the InStride XL cycle doesn't come with a seat. Instead, you sit in a standard dining room chair or lie on the floor, then insert your feet into the sturdy rubber straps. Once you're in, you can pedal in forward or reverse motion, with an adjustable tension knob that lets you vary your intensity. As an alternative, you can even rest the InStride XL on a table and pedal with your hands to experience a full-range upper body workout. An electronic monitor times your workout.
