First Degree Fitness Evolution Series E-920 Fluid Upper Body Ergometer with Adjustable Crank Arm is an imposing title for a piece of exercise equipment. And it is only upper body. What's going on? The Fluid UBE has been designed to satisfy a need in the market for a high quality, variable resistance machine with the greatest range of applications. The ability to vary resistance from 'feather light' to 'Olympic sprint' at the touch of a lever sets this machine apart, as well as its fluid technology. Only one moving part. How it works: Two chambers are contained within the tank. The inside chamber stores a variable amount of water. Resistance is generated by moving the impeller blades through the water in the outside tank. Resistance is varied by allowing more or less water into the outside tank, achieved simply by moving the adjustment lever.
