A heavy-weighted flywheel-resistance and belt-drive train ensures smooth pedaling, and tension can be adjusted to any of 8 levels to increase or decrease intensity without interrupting a workout. A battery-operated monitor displays speed, distance, time, calories burned, and pulse, which is measured by sensors in handrails beside the seat. The seat and seatback are molded and padded for comfort and adjustable. Oversized foot pedals and adjustable foot straps hold feet securely to improve pulling motion while pedaling.
